Anyway there are a couple sources I recommend that will show you how easy it is to make money online in the Philippines and I really am getting down to the specific things because like I said the Internet is global and you really don’t need much training if you are already doing the right things. One source is a website called Pinoy Money Talk  or PMT for short. This site which describes itself as “Your online resource on banking, investing, trading, and making money online and offline” is geared towards Filipinos but if you are living over there it provides you with good information on the topics included in the description. Check out a recent article entitled List of Philippines’ Best Blogs-2nd Quarter 2009 and you may be suprised of the Alexa rankings of some of these blogs.

Another source is one that I have recommended previously and that is Bob Martin’s new site Auctiontopia which covers how an American who moved to the Philippines is working the auction side of making money online in the Philippines. Bob, the author of such books as 49 Ways to Make a Living in the Philipppines and Retire Like a King is an expert on making a living in the Philippines online. So there are two sources which should be enough for you to get a start on making a living online in the Philippines.

Here is a good idea for making some money while living in the Philippines. T-shirts are really inexpensive if you shop around and this guide, Learn How to Start a T-Shirt Company  may be something you’d like to start while living in the Philippines.

As you know this website has been created to not only inform folks on the Philippines but on subjects which show you how to make money while living in the Philippines. I don’t mean spending  most of your time working but rather kicking back on the beach and enjoying life. The only way you can do that is have a source of automated income something like say a pushbutton way of making money where you just do a little computer work and rake in the money. Believe me there are many claims out there for such pushbutton methods and as I discover new ones I will let you know. I want to mention one of them right now.

Twitter is fast becoming one of the leading ways that companies are marketing their products. If you are not familiar with twitter is it part of what is known as micro-blogging. On twitter you have 140 characters available to let your friends or followers as they are known, whats going on in your life you can twit all day and get out any message you would like. You may refer customers to your website or blog or possibly a sales page you have set up. Your message is only limited to 140 characters and the number of followers you have. In business your  number of twitter followers=number of people seeing your product. Some people have hundreds of thousands of followers and some have more than a million. Can you imagine if you are selling something what you could do with a 100,000 or more views of your product? How would you like that to be automatic each and every day? Since I write about moneymaking programs and working online on this blog I get free items almost daily that internet marketers want me to try and then review. In this article Louden stresses the importance of working with a bank within the Philippines that will accept PayPal. Even though there are many reputable banks in that country not all will be PayPal friendly. Louden uses Union Bank of the Philippines for his transactions and it doesn’t look like he’s had a problem with them. There is a bank number that PayPal requires and I suspect is the routing number just like we have here in the U.S. One of the great things about his post is that he provides the number you need for many of the banks within the Philippines. I use PNB (Philippine National Bank) which has branches in the U.S. close to where I live. We have an account and try to stay active with deposits so there shouldn’t be a problem in the Philippines. Today, Monday, I woke at about 9am did a couple of hours of computer work and got ready for my dentist appointment. It wasn’t too bad just a cleaning and check up. After the dentist I had to stop at the wine supply store to pick up some home winemaking supplies. While there I sat down with the owner and we sampled a few sips of his latest batches and discussed wine and other pleasures of life. After about an hour or so I was on my way but needed to make a stop at the local coffee shop for my daily coffee and I met an 82 year old friend of mine who wanted to talk about the news. By the way I’ve noticed that around my city the only people who are in coffee shops and such places are all older folks. The younger ones are off working so that someday in their 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s they will be able to kick back during the day and have coffee and discuss the news. I’m so glad I don’t have to wait that long to enjoy life. So now I’m back home to spend a couple of hours updating my websites and checking stats. Maybe later I’ll sneak in a nap and go out to eat.

I’m not trying to brag, well just a little, but what I’m trying to do is show you that life is not all about working everyday coming home tired and getting ready to go back tomorrow. I’m just an ordinary guy who through no fault of his own dropped out of the rat race and decided not to go back. There are thousands of people out there doing it and you can be one of them. Or you can get up tomorrow go to your job and make whatever someone thinks you are worth. Think about it, is that any way to live?

That day he went home and decided he couldn’t live the life he had been living which had been work hard while hardly getting by, living paycheck to paycheck. He decided before he went out and got another job he hated he would make a list of what he wanted and what he didn’t want in a job. The list of what he didn’t want included such things as being on someone else’s time clock, didn’t want to wake to an alarm clock, didn’t want to spend more time away from home and other things that a normal 9 to 5 rat race job gives you. What he did want was such things as being able to do something he enjoyed by working only a few hours a day and travel whenever he wanted. He even set a goal of being able to make as much money as a doctor.

A couple years back he started an experiment where he would start without reference to his name or backing from anyone and would build a website. Then he would try to find out if someone just starting out, a nobody, could become a profitable blogger, a somebody. Now we can all argue that everyone has their own opinion of what a somebody or a nobody is and whether money is the guage of if we are important or not but bear with me.

So he asks a question which we should look at. How much money do we need to make online to be considered somebody in this fine life we call internet marketing? That is the first question asked by John in this post. Does it get you to thinking about how much you’d like to make by working online? I think that may be the point.
