Chitika Pay Per Click
As stated in a previous post, after my Ebay earnings my pay per click programs are my second best earners. Pay per click programs of which Google Adsense is the most popular, pay you when visitors to your site click on advertisements. If you read my post earlier about building niche sites and visited a couple of mine like WV Tax Sales or Good Home Remedies you will see many pay per click ads. On these type sites they are the moneymakers and do much better than affiliate marketing, at least in my case. Pay per click doesn’t require the visitor to buy anything, all they have to do is check the information in the ad. But be careful you can be banned for soliciting people to go to your site just to click on the ads. In most cases you are prohibited from clicking on ads in your own website. As with affiliate marketing there are many types of banners and images that you can put on your site.
Getting back to Chitika this site which was started in 2003 serves over 2 billion ads per month across more than 30,000 websites. It commands more traffic than some of the top five search engines in the world and was a leader in the use of images displayed next to text ads.
