The Island Garden City of Samal is a beautiful and exotic destination in the Philippines. It is part of Metro Davao in Davao Gulf located very close to Davao City. The name was derived from Sama, a tribal group found on the island. This place flourishes with beautiful white sand beaches, plentiful marine life, and interesting rock formations.
